As an artist I am drawn to using vintage objects and images in my work. I see them as a physical link to the past and re-imagining them can I hope bring them alive to a new audience. 

I have collected a number of Victorian “Carte De Visite” and cabinet card photographs of children over the past few years. As the collection grew I realised I am drawn to children who have a bit of attitude or who are not willing to smile like a good boy or girl. I recently collated the images I have and created an illustrated book called “All Sweetness and Light”.
